Veterinarian
I have been a part of the HVC team since 2008 and a companion animal veterinarian since 1988! I have worked overseas in Australia and England. On my return to NZ I worked for 8 years in Wellington, then I did some time in the small towns of Balclutha, Alexandra and Whangerei before making the move to Christchurch with my husband and son. We love living in Canterbury surrounded by fabulous places to enjoy the outdoors. My special areas of interest are surgery, both soft tissue and orthopaedic, and oncology. I also have a special interest in conservation and wildlife and have been privileged to be involved with the reintroduction of Tui to Banks Peninsula and the monitoring of Banks Peninsula’s small Yellow Eyed Penguin population.
